Changelog
Current version: 2.0.0 · October 12, 2026.
Changes you can see and use in the app, newest first.
2.0.0 — October 12, 2026
- Tsunami now has a stable address: tsunamisdvx.org. Sign in with your existing account.
- Public score access now requires sign-in. Guest preview and existing guest sessions are disabled.
1.1.0 — October 12, 2026
- Session summary can download Kamaitachi Batch Manual JSON for its selected date, including older sessions. Verified photo judgments are included; estimates and judgments without photo evidence are omitted. Comments distinguish scanned cabinet judgments from recorded dates. A result with Errors exports MXV instead of its stored UC best. Result photos themselves are not exported.
- Tracked goals for the same folder and metric put the closer target first. Average Max% and Average Max− targets compare their remaining EX points, including on the Scores goal-target filter.
- Goals has a Declined view. Opening it keeps your declined suggestions hidden; restore individual goals when you want to reconsider them. Average Max% suggestions now omit charts missing catalog maximum EX values, while still requiring EX scores for every included chart.
- Tracked Average Max− goals keep showing progress on known EX values when newer songs lack a catalog maximum. Missing values still cannot trigger completion. Processing older inbox photos no longer adds them to today’s play ticker.
- Result photos have an experimental reader. Readings that agree with a uniquely matched imported result automatically add judgments, while keeping your best Score, EX and lamp intact. Use Spot-check photo readings to compare the numbers with original photos; uncertain readings stay unapplied.
- The camera guide uses just title and judgment markers, with closer framing that includes the rating and player name. Score and EX may appear in different positions.
- Volforce UC targets now include songs with up to three Errors.
- Progress this session shows how many songs advanced each goal, with gained/needed counts for chart targets. Reached targets appear first; changes in known song coverage no longer appear as raises. On desktop the goal pane fills the height of the raise table.
- The Konasute filter on Scores is temporary. Only saving the Konasute preference in Settings changes goal calculations and completion tracking, including when an older browser tab is still open.
- Long song titles scroll within stable columns on Scores, Rivals, Volforce and session tables. Titles remain readable without animation when reduced motion is enabled.
- Settings has a new Theme section with 20 optional looks alongside the original Tsunami Wave. Each theme restyles the logo, header, navigation, fonts, grades, clear lamps, difficulty badges, tables, charts and cards while showing the same information; lamp and difficulty colours keep their usual meaning. Your choice is saved on this browser, and animations stop when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Grade-based Volforce targets now require being within 25,000 points of the next grade.
- Average Max− practice songs now sort by largest Max−, accounting for each chart’s EX maximum.
- Scores now offers a saved NABLA bucket toggle. Current goal targets default to grouping songs by rating and goal, with whole-level goals in difficulty order and broad ranges such as All 16–21 last. Their summaries show “X needed” when a remaining chart count is available.
- Mobile score cards place rating beside the jacket and Playing now beside the grade. Sources and EX share one row. Select chart is a saved display setting, off by default; when enabled, it shares the photo-links row and adds Pick to desktop scores.
- Average-score and Average Max− practice lists now use score timestamps from the past six months, including imported results without recorded raises. Volforce cards show lamps only when the target requires changing them.
- Konasute ownership actions use the same rating folders shown on Scores, including ratings from CSV imports.
- Konasute players can select a folder on Scores and choose All owned songs played to mark its remaining unplayed songs unowned. Those songs stay out of goals and aggregates while the Konasute filter is on. Restore individual songs in Settings as you buy packs; saved scores remain intact.
- Percentage goals now use 25% instead of 20% and 75% instead of 80%. Goal cards show available results without an incomplete-data warning. Average-score and Average Max− song lists use the ten lowest recent Score/EX results; Near/Error lists show the ten largest counts.
- Goals has a Volforce targets page with song jackets, combined grade and clear targets, and each song’s potential gain. The maximum applies all targets together and accounts for charts displaced from your best contributions. These targets are followed automatically and completed ones appear in Recently reached and Timeline.
- Scores can filter to Current goal targets only, with a column naming the first matching tracked goal or automatic Volforce target.
- Open goal cards in Suggested, Tracking, Timeline or Session to see up to ten nearby songs and their relevant Score, EX, Max− or judgment values. UC goals show one-error songs by highest score. Other lamp lists are available for 100% targets with fewer than ten charts remaining.
- Average Max− now includes charts with a known maximum EX and EX score even when note totals are missing. Incorrect completions caused by omitting those charts return to tracking.
- Timeline keeps the counts on the other Goals tabs. Session summary shows only goals with recorded changes. All 18s and All 19s goals sort before their base NABLA folders.
- Max%, star and judgment goals omit charts without note totals and show the included coverage. Average Max− targets must be less than 10 EX points per chart away, and goals need at most 25 chart improvements. Percentage targets replace 30% and 70% with 33.3% and 66.6%, including lamps and stars. Star goals otherwise use 20% steps and drop “or better” from labels. Older unfinished goals that no longer meet these rules stop tracking; completed milestones remain in your timeline.
- Average Max% goals now appear only when less than 0.25 percentage points away and require complete EX data. Star goals use charts with known EX values. Near/Error goals allow estimates on at most 10% of played charts, with estimate coverage shown.
- Clear goals now use only 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% targets, including PUC. All 16–21 goals use percentages only. Distant 100% targets in the hardest folders are hidden unless just one chart remains. Existing count goals show their original target without an invented percentage, and star goals show the required Max−.
- Equivalent folder goals now share one suggestion, and tracked or declined goals hide their matching alternatives. Clear goals combine equivalent percentage and song-count targets. Goals remember full coverage so new songs do not recreate completed targets. Suggestions use 17.0 and 17.5 instead of All 17s and show 36 cards per page while keeping the total below 100.
- Goal and timeline cards are more compact, with stats side by side and more timeline columns on desktop. Completed goals move out of Tracking and stay in Timeline. Tracking or declining a goal removes it from suggestions; declines stay remembered until you restore them.
- Goals now has a Timeline of completed goals, grouped by day. Completed achievements you claim use the day you claim them. Milestones stay in your history after you stop tracking them.
- Goal suggestions put lower difficulties first. The 20s and NABLA 19.8+ focus on 100% milestones and average Max− below 1,000. Grouped percentage targets use 10% steps and appear only when less than 3 percentage points away; 100% targets in those hardest folders can appear farther away. Other average Max− targets start below 250, and clear goals now say EX Clear explicitly.
- Playing now and chart scrolling are smoother: background shine effects pause while a dialog is open and resume when it closes. Dialogs use a dim backdrop, and chart drawing stays within its own viewport.
- View chart now opens a separate, slightly zoomed-out viewport. Playing now stays compact, and charts load only when requested. Camera remains accessible beside the chart controls; closing the viewer releases its images.
- Goals recommends nearby targets for rating folders and NABLA buckets: play more charts, raise average Score or Max%, improve grade/lamp coverage, and reduce Near/Error counts when reliable judgments are available. Track or decline suggestions, review completed milestones, and see recorded goal progress in Play session. Goals follow your saved rating range, Konasute setting and catalog updates.
- Goal suggestions favor smaller folders, build on achievements you already have, and stay below 100 recommendations with targets requiring at most 50 chart additions. NABLA buckets replace individual decimal folders. Compact goal cards sit beside Session raises on desktop and above them on mobile.
- Rival Score graphs now show grade guides on both axes, anchored to the same score thresholds through zooms. Filtering advice appears with the rival selection controls before you compare.
- Rival comparisons now use pages for the table while the graph keeps all filtered charts. Zooming, Score/EX switches and full-screen controls update the graph without rebuilding the table, making large comparisons faster.
- Playing now uses a centered, enlarged vertical lane for supported level 16+ charts, including older charts. Images load near the visible part of the song and unload when you scroll away or close the viewer. SDVX.in links appear only when a continuous chart is unavailable.
- Camera controls now sit beside the chart in Playing now, keeping them reachable without reducing the viewer height.
- The Playing now view shows a continuous, scrollable chart for VICTIM EXH and MXM. Both use the normal orientation and start at the beginning of the song; more charts will follow.
- Taking a picture now opens a full-screen camera view with larger guide labels and easy-to-reach controls.
- The app is now named Tsunami, with the subtitle “Ride the wave of incremental progress.”
- Cutoff tables now include an uncolored Total row for the filtered charts.
- The header pairs the NABLA and EXCEED GEAR logos with a larger, italic subtitle.
- Cutoffs shows Critical, Near and Error percentages beside their totals. Its full-screen buttons have been removed because the tables already use the available width.
- Creating an account now requires a single-use invite code. Existing members each have five invites in Settings; used codes cannot be reused. New accounts start with no invites. Contact the maintainer to request invitations.
- The import dialog removes Private server and Saved Kamaitachi responses. Kamaitachi sync continues to connect automatically, with fresh and daily imports for your own account.
1.0.0 — October 8, 2026
- The first full release brings together score imports, personal-best history, rival comparisons and Konasute song filtering in one account-based app.
- Explore Score and EX performance with rating graphs, distributions, cutoff coverage and Volforce rankings. Use full-screen graphs on desktop for a closer look.
- Play session shows detected photos and KsHook plays with jackets and compact stats. Live Now refreshes it as plays arrive; Session summary includes improvements from direct syncs too.
- Reviewed photos provide actual result values while preserving stronger independent score, EX and lamp bests.
- Replay history remains Experimental. All Visualizations graphs share forward/reverse playback using known play dates, with incomplete coverage shown.
- The changelog now has a tab for each full version. Earlier development notes remain available in Development (0.x).
0.0.12 — October 8, 2026
- Visualizations now offers Replay history · Experimental for your own scores. Choose a period, drag the timeline or play it forward and backward. Score/EX by rating, averages and both distributions follow the same time; desktop full-screen graphs include playback controls too.
- Replay uses known play dates. Undated results are omitted, with coverage shown, so early history may look incomplete. New dated evidence appears after you refresh history. Graphs retain their scales during playback and label the period, filters and current time for screenshots.
- Use Change since period start to compare averages and distributions with the dated baseline, or Raises in this period to see improvements up to the playhead. Return to present restores the ordinary charts.
0.0.11 — October 8, 2026
- Play session replaces Last session's raises. Its compact play ticker shows detected photos and KsHook results newest first, with jackets, Score, EX score, lamps and personal-best gains. First plays and lower results appear too; judgment details stay in the summary.
- Turn on Live Now to refresh the ticker as plays arrive. Pause it to keep the current view, or start a new session. Photo uploads appear as awaiting review until their values are confirmed, then update the same entry.
- Open Session summary for the previous session table, including improvements from direct imports and syncs. Its date picker still lets you review earlier sessions.
0.0.10 — October 7, 2026
- Settings → Live session · Konasute lets you download a KsHook config for your account. New play posts update your scores and raises within a few seconds while the app is open. Keep Kamaitachi's config alongside it to send scores to both services.
- Live session shows the last received time and links to import details when a result needs review. You can replace the upload key or turn receiving off. Existing better scores, EX values, lamps and result photos are preserved.
- Use daily imports or Fresh import / fill missing scores to recover missed plays and older bests. Live posts use receipt time because KsHook does not send a play timestamp.
0.0.9 — October 7, 2026
- Mobile rival graphs keep the same size while you scroll. There is more space beside the plot so you can scroll the page without accidentally zooming.
- View full screen buttons now appear on desktop only; mobile graphs already use the available width.
- Import scores → Custom JSON · format builder lets you match your export's field names to SDVX Metrics, preview the records and download the mapping with a small sample. It supports nested fields, difficulty and lamp translations, and different timestamp formats. Samples stay on your device. This first version describes the format without importing scores.
0.0.8 — October 7, 2026
- Rival graphs show both players' names, the chosen ratings and active filters, so screenshots include the comparison's context. They also use more of the available screen width.
- Drag a rectangle over the rival graph to zoom into those scores. Axis labels update to the selected range; Reset zoom brings back the full graph. Score and EX score both support zooming.
- Every graph has a View full screen button for a larger view over the page. You can still use its controls, then close it with the Close button or Escape.
0.0.7 — October 7, 2026
- Import scores now guides you through choosing a source, importing your own scores or a rival's, and choosing how much to refresh. One Submit button starts the import; selecting a file no longer imports it immediately.
- Daily Kamaitachi imports bring in your latest 100 plays with their play dates. Choose Fresh import / fill missing scores to refresh all personal bests. Rival imports always refresh all personal bests.
- Settings → My rivals lets you find existing players, add rivals and remove them. Search starts within one Volforce point of your own total, and you can change or clear that range.
- App users can choose to share their scores for rival comparisons. Turning sharing off makes them private again, including for people who already added you as a rival. Result photos stay private.
- Personal score links are labeled as self-reported. Importing someone as a rival keeps their scores separate from yours, and removing a rival leaves their scores intact.
0.0.6 — October 7, 2026
- Rival comparisons now include a graph with your score across the bottom and your rival's score up the side. Dots on the diagonal are ties; dots below it are your wins. Switch between Score and EX score, and use filters to make crowded comparisons easier to read.
- The comparison graph sits beside the table on desktop and above it on mobile.
- Improved judgment accuracy when imported counts conflict with a score. Reviewed result photos take priority, while a stronger existing clear lamp is preserved.
0.0.5 — October 5, 2026
- Create your own account without an email address, with separate scores, settings, import history and rivals. Guest access lets you explore the app before registering.
- Filter your song list to charts available in Konasute, including optional song packs.
- Import your Kamaitachi personal bests into your score library and compare results from your different sources.
- Settings now includes graph preferences, display choices and jacket size.
- Volforce uses two connected table halves and lets you choose how many charts to include. Rival comparisons have a separate Rating column.
- Song titles stay on one line across Scores, Rivals, sessions and Volforce. Long titles can scroll on phones, and photo and Playing now buttons appear at the end of each row.
- Last session's raises shows your score improvements and their effect on averages and score distributions. Older sessions load when you open the date picker.
- Session dates include confirmed results even when they did not improve a personal best. Near and Error counts remain visible when unchanged.
- Rating graphs leave out unplayed difficulties. EX star graphs show fractional progress and EX improvements independently of normal-score improvements.
- Added grouped filters, photos-only filtering and separate Pick selections for scores and raises.
- Camera capture includes guides for Score and EX result screens, with a device-camera fallback.
- Photo links follow Score and EX personal bests separately. Older photos remain in history after a best is beaten, and verified photos can recover missing play dates.
- Import details let you inspect added, unchanged, enriched and rejected results.
- Added more song jackets and improved judgment estimates and import error messages.
- Added a public changelog and planned-feature list.
0.0.4 — October 4, 2026
- Score and EX score now keep independent personal bests, judgment counts and supporting photos. One photo can support both bests.
- Compare results from your own score sources, with colors showing which source supplies each best.
- Upload result photos from your camera or storage, match them to charts and review the values before saving.
- Enlarge photos from Scores and Raises, and review photo uploads in their own import history.
- Filter and sort raises by rating, source, date and improvement. Rival tables support sorting and separate Score and EX comparison bars.
- Improved phone layouts, song-title scrolling and table navigation.
- Added an in-app guide for importing, playing, comparisons, charts and recovery.
0.0.3 — October 3, 2026
- Song jackets, placeholders for missing artwork and a toggle to hide jackets for more compact rows.
- Difficulty and clear-lamp badges using the game's colors, with sortable rating, score and judgment columns.
- Optional separate S-Critical and Critical counts when that information is available.
- Playing now shows a large jacket and your personal bests, with camera capture and result review.
- Whole-level and decimal rating folders, with a configurable rating range.
These features were introduced during October 2–4; their individual delivery dates were not recorded.
0.0.2 — October 2, 2026
- Kamaitachi imports alongside eamuse CSV imports, with repeated imports preserving your existing bests and ratings.
- Compare rivals by shared chart, Score, EX score and clear lamp, with each player's scores kept separate.
- View the app as a saved rival and return to your own scores at any time.
- Review failed imports and remove their reports from your import history.
0.0.1 — October 1, 2026
- Score history and CSV imports that keep play or import dates without duplicating unchanged results.
- Import reports explain which results were accepted and why others failed.
- Decimal ratings, Max-minus, EX percentages and judgment estimates, with actual, estimated and unknown values clearly distinguished.
- Score-by-rating graphs, score and Max-minus distributions, and average-score charts.
- Grade and clear-lamp cutoff tables, grouped by whole levels or NABLA rating groups.
- Adjustable graph ranges, bucket sizes, spacing and colors, plus Volforce rankings.
Planned features
- More song jackets and further chart and mobile improvements.
- Broader result-photo layout support and bulk photo imports.
